About this camp

ASU Robotics Camp is an innovative two-week summer program designed for middle and high school students interested in science and engineering. Participants gain hands-on experience in component-based robot construction and programming, learning the latest engineering concepts and technologies. The curriculum covers visual programming languages, Python programming, web programming in Service-Oriented Computing, and phone app programming. Middle school students (grades 7-8, and exceptional 6th graders) will also learn programming using the Alice environment for 3D animation, movie, and game development, and EV3 robotics programming. High school students (grades 9-12) delve into more advanced computing and robotics content. The program culminates in a robotics challenge where students work in teams to design, build, and program a robot to test their skills.
