This hands-on online bootcamp teaches high school students to leverage AI, specifically Claude Code, as a personal coding assistant. The curriculum covers how agentic coding tools like Claude Code differ from regular AI chatbots, launching Claude Code in the terminal, using Plan Mode to map out tasks, and creating CLAUDE.md files for project context. Participants will gain skills in debugging failing tests, tracking root causes of errors, refactoring code, and building new features with AI-guided workflows. The course emphasizes setting up safety checkpoints to maintain control over AI actions. Students will complete seven hands-on labs and a capstone project, culminating in a portfolio of working applications.
